OK, so since discovering FACEBOOK this weekend, nothing else got done. We even had to go OUT for dinner coz I was so engrossed I forgot to cook. Never mind. I LOVE facebook. But there's so much to keep track of - this blog (yeah, right. More of an experiment than anything else), my websites, my friends, music, emails, myspace (hate it), and... Oh yeah, WORK.
Golly gee. Well, Facebook has put me in touch with some buddies that I've longed to get in touch with. I hope they'll realize my arrogant self-centered single-mindedness has dissipated quite a bit, although it pops its ugly head up once in a while. What truly bugs me is how successful everyone has been! Doesn't ANYONE have any problems... at home, or work, or with the car, or...
I'm sure they do. But posting them ain't the place, I guess. Take Tommy P, for instance. He's been very kind in indulging my rekindling our brief friendship, and we both stir up some fine and varied memories, but I sometimes wonder how much of an idiot I must seem to him! LOL Hey, Tommy! THAT's not changed, I'm sure! Life is much calmer, there's clearer perspective, but I'm still waddling in the mud, and you're up there, out there, doing your stuff. GOOD FOR YOU, BUDDY! You're still an inspiration to me! (What a great post, too)
And then there's TOM C. He's such a big heart. And a huge inspiration for positive thought. He's really my bestest friend. Not bad since I met him when we were 14! Come back soon - the US misses you!
Oops - the missus is gonna yell at me re: dinner Better get the car keys! Ciao for now.
